Wake up, America!

The Fight of Our Lives by William Bennett and Seth Leibsohn is an insightful and an eye opening book that everyone needs to study. America has tried to be such an open minded and accepting society that we have lost our core principles and Christian ideals.

Yes, we are (or were founded to be) a Christian nation. People from all over the world came to America to serve God as they chose, to have a personal relationship with God, not regulated or dictated by the government. Our freedom for religion has changed to freedom from religion.

Wake up, America and turn back to God!

Encouragement

Eat Your Peas, Faithfully by Cheryl Karpen
Art by Sandy Fougner

One thing I like about this book is the encouragement and love found all throughout the pages! Such simple pages with facing pages completing the thought. I love the King James Version and would have liked to have seen all the Bible verses from that text. This book would show someone that you truly care, that you would be willing to listen to them share their thoughts, concerns and ideas. It also lets them know that you have confidence that they can be successful. I would like to read the authors other books, and I plan to study this one more. It is important that we encourage our friends and family.

Such a beautiful book, I like the color scheme, it is beautifully and artfully illustrated.

Reviews

“Thank You, God, For Mommy” by Amy Parker is such a beautifully illustrated and well-written book about Mothers taking time for their children. I enjoyed reading it and plan to read it many times. I appreciate the fact that the child is being taught to thank his or her Mother for all the many things that she does for him or her. So many times we take for granted all the time and effort it takes to be a good Mommy. Childhood is so short it is so great that this book showcases the love of a mother for a child.

The illustrations by Frank Endersby are so adorable. He shows the love that the Mommy and son have for each other. I would like to read more books by this author and see more illustrations by Mr. Endersby.
